Chip Sernyak - Regional President, Northeast

Chip Sernyak – Regional President, Northeast

Chip Sernyak has rejoined CoreSource as Regional President, Northeast, overseeing offices in Baltimore and Lancaster, Pa.

Previously, Sernyak worked for CoreSource for approximately 14 years through December 2006, serving as Vice President of National Account Sales and as Location President, Lancaster. Most recently, Sernyak was Vice President, Senior Sales Consultant, for Commerce Banc Insurance Services. Before working at CoreSource, Chip served as Managing Consultant, Total Compensation Practice, for WF Corroon; and Senior Group Representative for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

He earned a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa.

Sue Houck – Vice President, Operations

Sue is Vice President of Operations for the Lancaster office. Since joining CoreSource in 1982 as a medical claim analyst, she has been consistently promoted, having served in various management capacities that include Claims Supervisor, Claims Director and Vice President of Claims and Customer Service.

In her claims and customer service management roles, Sue was also responsible at times for oversight of similar functions in two other offices.

Sue also has detailed knowledge of CoreSource system capabilities, having been involved with the development of the proprietary e-CAMS adjudication software.

Richard Naumann – Vice President, Client Management and Sales Support

Richard is Vice President, Client Management and Sales Support, for the Lancaster office, responsible for providing oversight and direction to resolve any complex client issues that may arise. He has been with CoreSource since 1994, having served as Vice President of Claims and Operations and Vice President of Managed Care before being promoted to his current position in 2007.

Richard has nearly 30 years of leadership experience in employee benefits and managed care. Prior to joining CoreSource, Richard held a variety of management positions in the Managed Care & Employee Benefits Division at The Travelers Insurance Company. His understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by employer groups has been beneficial in implementing creative and practical managed care solutions for our clients.

Richard obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1970 from St. Benedict’s in Atchison, Kan., and later served three years in the U.S. Army as a Psychiatric Specialist. He has completed course work in several professional educational areas and holds Health Insurance of America Association (HIAA) Honors Certification in HIAA’s Group Life and Health Insurance Program.

Kevin Magrann, CEBS – Director, Client Management

Kevin is Director of Client Management in the Lancaster office. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of his client base and ensuring ultimate client satisfaction, along with having oversight responsibilities for the Northeast Region. Prior to joining CoreSource in 1994, Kevin served as Sales and Account Manager for the Travelers Insurance companies in Wyomissing, Penn. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Pennsylvania State University, and obtained the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation in 1993 through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  

Bill DiGilio – Vice President, Information Technology

Bill DiGilio is Vice President, Information Technology, responsible for all CoreSource software, hardware and network systems, including enhancements and/or any system issues. Prior to joining CoreSource in 1985, he served in the U.S. Navy before studying computer science. He graduated in 1985 from Lehigh Technical Institute in Reading, Penn., with a degree in computer programming and system design.

Jim Davies – Vice President Automated Enrollment Services

Jim joined CoreSource in 2000 as Vice President, Automated Enrollment Services. From 1991 until 2000, Jim served as the COO for a firm that built customized enrollment systems. Prior to 1991, Jim was Vice President, Regional Operations, for the Atlanta office of a large insurance company. Jim has a Master’s of Business Administration in insurance from Georgia State University and serves as an adjunct insurance professor at Millersville University.

Janet D'Orazio – Assistant Vice President, Healthcare Management Client Services

Janet is Assistant Vice President of Healthcare Management Client Services, serving as a client liaison and supporting sales and marketing efforts for healthcare management for all CoreSource offices.

Janet has been with CoreSource since 1990 when she joined the healthcare management team as a Utilization Management Coordinator. In 1991, she was promoted to Director of Healthcare Management. In 1995, when CoreSource centralized healthcare management services in Lancaster, Janet was promoted to director of Healthcare Client Management Services. In 2006, she was named to her current position.

Prior to joining CoreSource, she was a nurse in a surgical intensive care unit at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Her background also extends to utilization management and quality assurance in a hospital setting, as well as with federal beneficiaries. Janet earned a diploma in Nursing from Hahnemann University Hospital and is a Certified Case Manager. 

Kevin Ray – Client Manager

Kevin is a Client Manager with CoreSource, responsible for managing all service aspects of the CoreSource-client relationship. He joined CoreSource in 1997 as Director of Plan Resources. Prior to joining CoreSource, Kevin was employed by John Hancock for 14 years where he started out as a Medical Claims Analyst, and was promoted to Medical Claims Supervisor and then to Account Executive. Kevin received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from West Chester University.

Nicholas Polly – Sales Executive

Nicholas joined CoreSource in 2005 as a Sales Executive in the Roseland, N.J., office. With more than 30 years’ experience in employee benefits, he enjoys a solid industrywide reputation for integrity and proficiency. Nicholas most recently worked in Parsippany, N.J., for The Loomis Company as a Senior Sales Executive. He attended Pace University in New York.

Jason Dennis – Sales Executive

Jason, Sales Executive, Lancaster office, has more than eight years’ experience developing alternative funding arrangements for employer benefit plans. Prior to joining CoreSource in 2003, Jason worked in Philadelphia for Blue Cross. Jason is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's of Science in business and a Master’s of Business Administration with a dual concentration in managed care and finance.
