History of the Chicago Office
The CoreSource Chicago office serves numerous self-funded groups, including manufacturers, service industry companies, school districts, railroads and hospitals and healthcare systems.
The office recently entered a new niche market when it was selected to administer medical and dental claims for an insurance company’s certificate holders and provide customer service, while also administering claims for the insurance company’s employees.
The CoreSource Chicago location got its start when Jackson, Long & Associates, a third-party administrator, opened the office in 1975. The office was acquired by Lincoln National and later by a group of investors before the unveiling of the CoreSource name. CoreSource was acquired by Trustmark in 1997.
