Regional President, Chicago and Western Region

David Parrish – Regional President, Chicago and Western Region

With more than 20 years of industry experience, David was named CoreSource Regional President, Chicago and Western Region, in August 2009. He joined CoreSource in 2004 as Vice President, Underwriting and Stop Loss, and then gained additional responsibilities and the title of Vice President, Product Development and Risk Solutions before moving into his current role.

David joined Trustmark, the parent company of CoreSource, in September 1996. While at Trustmark, David served in roles of increasing responsibility, including Second Vice President, Group Underwriting, prior to joining CoreSource.

David earned a Bachelor’s of Business in Marketing from Western Illinois University.

Pam Ciarlette – Vice President of Claims Operation

As Vice President, Claims Operations, Pam is responsible for overseeing claims, customer service and eligibility for the Tinley Park and Tucson offices, which together have more than 80 employees. Pam joined CoreSource in May 2008, bringing with her more than 24 years’ experience in the health claims industry.

Prior to joining CoreSource, Pam was Assistant Vice President of Claims Operations for American Administrative Group (AAG), which formerly was Gallagher Benefits Administrators. She worked for AAG for seven years, overseeing the company’s Lisle, Ill., claims operation, which involved claims processing, customer service, eligibility, mailroom services, technical services and the provider unit. Approximately 80 employees worked at the Lisle office. She was also responsible for AAG’s Jackson, Miss., office with some 20 employees and a Bakersfield, Calif., claims office.
 
Previously, Pam worked for Unicare/Wellpoint for 12 years as Director of one of the organization’s largest claims offices in Bolingbrook, Ill., which employed more than 300 employees. She was responsible for overseeing some 150 fully insured and self-funded accounts. The Bolingbrook office provided claims processing, customer service, data entry, account management and mailroom services.
 
Pam attended the University of St Francis in Joliet, Ill., with a concentration in business management. She is currently pursuing certification as a volunteer for The Domestic Violence Outreach Program through Catholic Charities/Guardian Angel Home in Joliet.

Scott Ockington – Vice President, Client Management

Scott joined CoreSource’s Tinley Park office as Vice President, Client Management, in September 2008 after working for eight years for a national third-party administrator specializing in the large group, self-funded arena. Scott’s background in third-party claim administration enables him to lead his team effectively in providing prompt, professional and strategic services to our clients and their advisors.

Scott has worked in employee benefits since 1988, primarily in the large, self-insured employer market. Scott has held positions in sales, operations and client management and is knowledgeable about all aspects of claim administration, managed care and reinsurance.

Scott holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Ohio University—one in Marketing and the other in Computer Systems in Business.
