Clare Smith Named Chief Financial Officer at CoreSource

LAKE FOREST, Ill., September 6, 2007 – Clare Smith, of Wilmette, Ill., has been named Chief Financial Officer at CoreSource, Inc., one of the nation’s largest third-party employee benefit administrators (TPAs). Smith joined the Lake Forest, Ill.-based TPA on Aug. 27, 2007. She assumes responsibility for all financial strategy and management at CoreSource.

Smith most recently was Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Bankers Life and Casualty. She started her career with KPMG Peat Marwick, and her background includes posts with increasing responsibilities at both Zurich Kemper Life and Kemper Insurance Companies. Smith holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
